Buds

SORRY ABOUT ALL OF THE FERNS /)n( And the tiny photo. I just wanted to doodle this evening, didn't quite realize how small it was!

I doodled some baby Ferns in class today. They're called 'buds' when they're juveniles, and they're not referred to as adults until they are able to open their head fully. Because of this, as an adult Fern it is unusual to fold the head - it is seen as an adult receding back into childhood. Such activity is not normally observed unless the Fern is an especially shy individual.

Buds begin life as very small creatures. The size of their heads is comparable to that of a sunflower seed.

Feat: A yellow rose, and an orange rose Fern (I actually quite like his color scheme, hehe)
